About

Join Britomar Gomez of Stanford Health Care and Caroline Kalbaugh of Aimbient for a discussion on how ambient AI and objective procedural evidence can support a more informed approach to quality improvement.

Brit will share how Stanford Health Care uses Aimbient’s procedural AI platform as part of a recurring, multidisciplinary review process that helps teams develop a shared understanding of procedural care. The program has grown from roughly 40 participants to more than 400 and has supported improvements in areas including specimen handling, retained-object workflows, hemorrhage response, universal protocol, and closed-loop communication.

Together, the speakers will explore what it takes to translate procedural insights into sustained change, including the role of governance, clinician trust, multidisciplinary participation, action ownership, and follow-through.
