The Origin
Built by a surgeon who refused to operate in the dark.
Aimbient began in the operating room, where founder and surgeon Dr. Teodor Grantcharov saw what every procedural team knows: the most important work in the hospital happens under pressure, in real time, and with incomplete feedback.
Other high-performance fields used video, data, and AI to improve. Healthcare had higher stakes, but less visibility.
That gap became the starting point for Aimbient: capture the procedural environment, understand it with purpose-built AI, and give teams the truth they need to improve.
The room was always generating intelligence.
